MaryLuz Hair Salon strives to provide the safest environment to guests and offers several alternatives to harsh chemicals used in many popular hair products and services.

Like many people, Marilu did not grow up using organic and natural hair products. She made the switch when she realized that the strong chemicals in shampoo, conditioner and hair color were giving her headaches and affecting her breathing. After having her first son and noticing his irritated skin from chemicals in baby shampoos, she knew she needed to explore natural alternatives. Marilu obtained her cosmetology license in 1991 and created a vegan hair care line, free of sulfates and parabens.

Today, MaryLuz Hair Salon is dedicated to helping the community achieve healthy beautiful hair and specializes in organic hair color and treatments. Organic plants, like rosemary, passion fruit, hibiscus, peppermint, garlic and onion are incorporated into her products, improving blood circulation to hair follicles,  promoting hair growth, relieving dry, itchy scalp and dandruff and creating shine.
