It’s most likely the first thing you’ll notice walking by the salon - a shelf lined with plants perched in the window. Rosemary, passion fruit, peppermint, onion, garlic. All plants Marilu uses in her own organic product line, the bottles displayed a couple feet to the right. The garden to salon shelf story is personal, and for Marilu, it was 20 years in the making. Not wanting to expose her two sons to harsh chemicals in everyday products, Marilu began researching chemistry. Years spent working in her garden gave her an idea; incorporate the properties of plants into hair care.
